WoW YouTube Videos: What NOT To Do

WoW YouTube Videos cover everything from power-leveling to making gold. But lately, a new type of video has surfaced - irate girlfriends of WoW addicts erasing their boyfriend's WoW character. I have personally leveled countless characters and toons and I know what kind of work and determination it takes. So I'm asking you, ladies, please.. PLEASE stop the insanity!

If you are sick of your boyfriend, (or girlfriend... girls play WoW, or so I've heard), ignoring you and spending more time playing World of Warcraft than you working AND sleeping, stop and take a deep breath before you do something rash. I understand the logic of character deletion - if they don't have the character, they won't play WoW and they'll have more time to give you the attention you deserve. Why not try some less permanent steps before all-out character deletion?

Sure the WoW YouTube Videos are entertaining, but TRUST ME, they aren't so funny when it's happening TO YOU. Keep in mind that the World of Warcraft can be a very exciting environment in which to "escape" things that may be bothering your significant other in the "real world." Make sure that YOU are not one of those things by taking a good hard look at YOUR side of the relationship. Are you pushing him further and further into his game world by making the "real world" unbearable?

If you're certain that you're doing everything right and that the only cause of trouble is his constant gaming, then confront him. Ask him to explain the game to you. Instead of letting a game tear you apart, why not try letting it bring you closer together? Why not give the game a shot? That way you'll be able to spend quality time together - gaming! Maybe you can join WAA, (WoW Addicts Anonymous), together.
